Squid for Windows with HTTPS filtering and SSL Bump (Beta for version 3)

UPDATE Feb 3, 2015 – Squid 3.5 for Microsoft Windows installer is finally here – https://sichent.wordpress.com/2015/02/03/latest-squid-3-5-for-microsoft-windows-cygwin-64bit/

We are pleased to announce the availability of beta of Squid 3 built for Microsoft Windows 64 bit. The MSI installer is available at http://squid.diladele.com. Latest update adds support for HTTPS filtering and SSL bump comparable to that of Linux/FreeBSD based builds. Unfortunately to fully use these capabilities you need to wait until a web filtering server qlproxy 4.1 is out. The planned Windows version of it comes early January 2015.

This build is the result of open source project https://github.com/diladele/squid3-windows. It tries to have the easily usable installer for Squid for Microsoft Windows with all compilation flags required to do ICAP based web filtering.

Currently we rebuild the 3.3.3 sources of Squid Proxy using CygWin build environment. Release Candidate will try to pack the latest Squid 3.5 with all recent enhancements. There is a visible progress but work is far from being over. Please join development efforts at GitHub.

Best regards,
Diladele Dev Team

Hello, I’m using your Squid 3.5.10 for Windows in a Windows 7 x64 SP1 machine and the “Diladele.Squid.Tray.exe” is not working, it’s say “Access Denied”. I did something wrong?
